Fixing Data Errors

Most data problems marked as errors can be corrected by the Fix option. The corrective action taken to rectify some problems is quite complex. If you are in doubt about the consequences of fixing your data, seek advice from Sage Customer Support or from your Sage Dealer.

Corrections are made to a temporary copy of the relevant data file and if reconstruction of the original data is successful, the temporary file is used to replace the corrupted file.
